just took photo

I had no better idea than T.virgatum
in one of the books that I have a description and pictures are the same …
(currently I can not remember which book)

As for, that I get a few answers to posted pictures No one is sadder than me … I tried as much as possible over the internet and the books It is difficult if notimpossible

Therefore, I am grateful for any assistance

Did it have a bitter taste?

even if it had, I doesn’t look like virgatum to me. It should have a pronounced umbo to start with, and usually a dark gill edge.

You have shown us so many odd mushrooms from your area. Such a pity that you get names, or even suggestions, on so few..
