These images were taken in an area of dead timber (old logging area) in the Comboyne Range district. This area is rarely visited and is some hours walk from the nearest access point. These fungi look similar to another fungi that I have posted but are not the same. They were mature specimens and the caps were about 8-12mm in some example and 12-15mm in others. The enlarged image does not have sufficient resolution but does show the gills.
