Recognized by sight: There’s a white hypothallus under the edge of the fruit body and the shape point toward a slime mold. Plasmodium is pure red or carmine in L epidendrum and aethalia are visible near by.

I’ve seen the fruiting bodies for L. epidendrum, but never the plasmodia. Makes sense since I found these together.
