Bruce gave us some great advice on how to preserve the sparassis in the fridge, and we served it on a salad for the Fall Tasting. Pretty good. It was tricky to wash/clean since it crumbled apart, but once cooked, it had a normal mushroom texture.
Did you try eating this? I remember it looked choice for the type, but I have never tried it.
