but for sure isn’t one of our most common trees (so, neither pine nor quercus). In the meantime I saw some photos of Fomitiporia, namely F.hartigii and F.

, and the first one resembles very much my specimen. Thanks again.

Do you know the tree on which the basidiocarp grows?
Perhaps it could be a species of the satellite genus Fomitiporia.
