Found under oaks, beech, fir.

Cap, gills, and stipe all purple-blue. Cap viscid, stipe non-viscid. Context brown in KOH, cap brown in KOH.

Micro-shot of spores from the veil at 1000x in KOH. The spores are ellipsoid, tan, warted. The apr. size is 10 × 6 um.

Matches well the desc. of C. eucaeruleus in Funga Nordica p689.
