Notes:
Found under oaks, beech, fir.

Cap grey brown, gills grey, stipe tan-grey. Cap viscid, stipe non-viscid. Cap grey in KOH, No reaction to KOH in context. Very bitter taste.

The micro-shot is of spores from the veil at 1000x in KOH. The spores are sub-globose to ellipsoid, brown, warted. Apr. size 8 × 5.75 um.

Matches desc. for C. infractus very well in Funga Nordica.
