Notes: Growing on a mossy rock with a layer of soil, in a dark crevice. Growing on the same rock as obs – 81596. I have a piece of the specimen for additional work when I have time.

Spot tests would be helpful

K test under the squamules would really show the brownish reaction if it is C. chlorophaea group. But usnic acid will only be in the green cortex, so that’s where you want to do the KC test.
