Notes:
Fruiting at the ends of downed Douglas fir logs(around growth rings). Looking just like S.scutellata in size and shape but without tiny hairs around rim- also having vibrant purple color. Large fruitings of Tremella on most stumps where these were evident.

Temp: low 40’s, heavy rains.
