Observation 82478: Lyophyllum boudieri Kühner & Romagn.

When: 2011-10-23

Collection location: Thoiry, France [Click for map]

Who: Douglas Smith (douglas)

No specimen available

Notes:
Found under spruce, fir.

Ok, found a few clumps of these over two weeks, and I hadn’t seen this before, this being the third year looking at this spot. But just small clumps, like this, only 5-6 seen on the whole hill side. So, I thought fide, that is why I hadn’t seen it before, it is just that not many come up at a time. But, not so, here it is a few weeks later, and now this weekend, I saw many 100’s if not 1000’s on the hill side. There seems to be 2-3 clusters at the base of almost every tree on the hill right now. Not seen before, but now a very good year for it, who knows?
