Observation 82565: Amanita gemmata group

Herbarium specimen reported

Notes: Found under douglas fir about 50m up chinquapin rd from the first water tanks. Stipe solid, no real volva, base not obviously enlarged, veil partially attached to gills, cap with FROSTY white stuff. Frostyness EASILY wiped off with my finger (see photo two: as found, photo three: after wiping it gently with my thumb. The Frosty nature leads me to A. aprica…..herbarium specimen available if anyone wants to get technical.
