Used references: “North American Boletes” by Bessette-Roody-Bessette:
Looks like a xerocomoid bolete (tubes don’t separate individually, but rather split in half); could be related to Boletus/Xerocomus hypoxanthus (name doesn’t exist on MO, but is in B-R-B and index fungorum), though it grows in deciduous woods, and its flesh doesn’t stain reddish; B. ochraceoluteus is another farfetched possibility, but it’s not xerocomoid; both are strictly southern in distribution
