Notes: Nearby trees were ponderosa pine and manzanita; slimy cap surface in dry weather; cuticle peeled easily from cap flesh; yellow flesh did not blue when cut; short stipe relative to cap seemed to lack glandular dots, reticulation, or annulus; smooth elliptical spores

Thanks very much for your input. I can confirm that eating some didn’t kill me, consistent with either ID…:) I know the exact spot where found and will look more closely if it reappears this fall.
