Observation 83098: Amanita phalloides (Vaill. ex Fr.) Link

When: 2011-11-23

Collection location: Teague Hill Open Space Preserve, San Mateo Co., California, USA [Click for map]

Who: Tom (LanLord)

No specimen available

Notes:
These things were out in troops, in various environments. Most were associated with Live Oak, Tan Oak or Madrone, but there was one large group I found that was in a stand of pure Douglas Fir. There were no other type of trees around for over 100 yards.

I’m not sure if this is going to double post, my browser crashed in the middle of the first upload.
