Observation 83728: Craterellus cinereus (Pers. : Fr.) Donk
When: 2011-11-29
No herbarium specimen

Notes: On a hillside of mixed bay laurel, live oak, doug fir, and redwoods. I have found C. cornucopioides nearby in the past, not this early in the year. My hesitation in naming it the black trumpet is the wavy under surface. I didn’t have my camera on the hike when I found it so I collected two for capturing at home. Searched around but didn’t find others, just a matter of time I’m sure.
