I took the photo last February (in my pre-MO days when I was just snapping photos of interesting fungi!) and did not know to touch the specimen. So I didn’t save any, no spore print, no idea what it felt like.

how tough? what did the top look like?

did you save any? a spore print would be helpful.

gill edges are entire, can’t be lentinus.
