These were growing in an area dominated by Redwoods, with some scattered tanoak and Doug fir.
Spores were smooth and ~ 9.0-10.2 X 5.6-6.8 microns.
There was abundant pleurocystidia and cheilocystidia.
The odor seemed slightly spermatic.
These did have some distinctive micro characteristics but a quick run through some Inocybe keys resulted in the usual beginning of an annoying headache and the desire for some cold alcohol based beverage.
