Notes: Using A.H. Smith 1971 (North American of Mycena) we identified our collection as Mycena thujina. According to Anna Ronikier and Arne Aronsen 2007 (Type study of Mycena phaeophylla reveals its conspecificity with M. clavata. Mycologia 99:924-935 – http://www.mycologia.org/content/99/6/924.short ), Mycena thujina A.H. Sm. and M. phaeophylla Kühner are synonyms of Mycena clavata.
Growing on dead branches of Thuja plicata fallen on the ground.
