You are right. They are now synonyms. I found some this week. They will be snow covered tomorrow.

as furfuracea; ochre spore print, hygrophanous caps changing from brown to pale buff, some caps striate, poorly defined ring zone occasionally present on the stipe, white mycelium at stipe base.

Is heimalis a synonym for furfuracea? A splitoff? Or maybe just a close look alike?

Did they again excavate Tubaria hiemalis?
