Notes: Found in an mostly oak forest with a few other hardwoods and grey pine (Pinus sabiniana), the area these were collected was mostly oak with a few other hardwoods, I didn’t spot any nearby pine. There has also been very little rain recently.

I applied this name thinking it was in the mountains too…

and not in the higher Sierra make this unlikely to be B. primiregius.
When the paper is made available we’ll understand more about the other taxa.

Should it be Krombholz or sensu Thiers? Index Fungorum says Krombholz and both are accepted at MO, but I wasn’t able to find much on sensu Thiers other that it is the more commonly used one.
