The basidiolichens usually have “normal” nonlichenized fruiting bodies. It’s the mycelium that becomes lichenized (e.g., Multiclavula and Lichenomphalia). I wonder if Dictyonema has only vestigial mycelium left. Or does it have multiple strategies for acquiring nutrients?
