Observation 86070: Tricholoma cingulatum (Almfelt) Jacobasch
When: 2011-11-13
Collection location: Thoiry, France [Click for map]
No herbarium specimen

Notes: Found under hornbeam, beech, spruce and fir. Oak was not too far away.

Ok, these look correct, but this species was only supposed to be under willow? I’m pretty sure I haven’t seen any willow around this hill side, and I think willow is only an introduced species in the area. Found by the edges of streams down in town, we people put it to look pretty. Maybe I’m wrong, there are a lot of hardwood leaves there, is one of those willow? So, not sure what else these could be? Only time I’ve seen anything like these in the area, and this time a good collection of them.
