Seems to be a better guess than any. Definitely in a coniferous area (doug-firs and Redwoods) with the occasional oak here and there.

except for the habitat. Perhaps H. discoideus works for this one, as I think I see some conifer debris here in with the deciduous leaves. H. discoideus is known from the Northwest including northern CA, though I have not identified it.
