Observation 86559: Pluteus petasatus (Fr.) Gillet
When: 2011-10-02
No herbarium specimen

Notes: Growing on wood chips from an urban playground, this appears to be Pluteus petasatus. It resembles that species in every aspect except one — P. petasatus is usually robust, i.e. the stem is enlarged at a point or another, while this one had a slender stipe.
