Well, that’s a hard nut to crack. I thought this to be one well defined and even macroscopically rather conspicuous species but alas! I had to find alongside several pyreno- and hyphomycets and other stuff at least 5 different corticioid species of which most are unripe. There is one sterile Botryobasidium in it, one Atheliaceae, supposedly Hypochnicium sp., supposedly Piloderma sp. (which must be responsible for the golden rhizomorphs) and another one which I am unable to trace even to group. Hopefully in due weather this riddle may be solved some day.
