Notes: Easily distinguished amongst the duff by their bright, aquamarine color, these were found growing at the base of a Tanoak in a predominately Redwood forest. It’s neighbors included Scarlet and Yellow waxy caps. Less then a dozen smaller specimens were also found four days prior in the same general area, also near the base of a Tanoak and amongst soft soil next to rotting wood.
