Botryobasidium aurium looks promising. MycoBank illustrations match my observations of the conidial anamorph and in many other aspects.

under the scope, I am finding what I think is conical formation of spores. This would suggest that this is some imperfect form of something else, possibly Botryobasidium. Further work is needed.

are you of this ID? I have been seeing this for two years straight. Do you have a microscope for spores or to enlarge the fruit body?
