This Cortinarius raphanoides / betuletorum was a surprise find in Yosemite. It was still very abundant around streams and moss. It is identical to material collected by me in Florence, Oregon and almost the same as comparative material in the Eastern USA and Europe. No Betula sp. hosts were present in the locations of my collections.
