Recognized by sight: This mushroom was found on a foray that Italian mycologist, Silvano Pizzardo organized with Ennio Giusti and Albert Casiero. Silvano Pizzardo, “Coordinator pro tempore” of the Federation Veneti (Mycology) Groups,identified this mushroom as Amanita strobiliformis.
