Observation 88345: Auricularia Bull.

No herbarium specimen

Notes: These wood ears were completely dry when I found them. They appeared to be much smaller and thinner than the Auricularia I usually see. I took the stick home and left it in the yard to see what they would look like once rehydrated.

The new pictures were taken the morning after a night of rain. They still appear to be rather small and thin for wood ears.
