Notes: Gray Powder

This mushroom is small, 2 – 4 cm high. Growing in a well compacted flat grassy area under a big oak tree in a camp ground (camp site 12), Babcock State Park.

That powdery gray universal veil is unique, as is the abrupt, close, gray cup/volva at the base.
