Sandstone

These were on sandstone. But remember, sandstone in WI could be calcareous, since most of that strata used to be capped by dolomite. You never know unless you test it.
While the specimens are great, personally I don’t like the photos of them. They were done trying to shield it all from the sun, and look surreal and washed out. I’ll try retaking them next year, since the place is nearby.

I don’t know why, but I always have such a hard time finding good photogenic populations of Psora species. Was this calcareous substrate, by the way?
