Notes: Growing on Acer macrophyllum multi-trunk tree with two dead trunks still standing. I was growing on a base of those dead trunks.
The earlier collection from January 26, 2006 came from the very same tree. See MO Observation # 88373. No fruiting bodies were observed between these two collections.

this observation and Observation 88373 share practically all the same images, micrographs included. Seems to me there’s no point in having two separate observations from two separate dates be all but identical to each other. Is it possible to sort out which images correspond to which collection/observation?
