Prunus is a strong sign for this species,

but as far as I know, B. granmoi is only known from Eurasia. If this should be introduced then I would further document it. But I am sure there is a whole heck of other Biscogniauxia species in North America that can be assigned to that host.
Try to find some literature, I would be interested in the identity of this fungus too.
