Spot tests all negative (or slightly K+ yellowish/brownish). Alga is Trentepohlia (conspicuous golden oil drops visible at 400x in water mount). Perithecia entirely black-walled. Spores ~18-21×5-6µm, ~5-septate, thin walled, brownish. Only found one perithecium, the vast majority of the black dots were pycnidia. Conidia abundant, 3-septate, brownish, ~15×5µm.
