CNALH Lichens of WI

I noticed some new developments at CNALH … lichen flora projects for several new states, including a checklist of the Lichens of WI by Bennett, with 735 species at this point. If you ever need a rainy day project, you might think of making an MO style “species list” of your tremendous series on the lichens of WI.

I was recently admiring the Australian lichen checklist, but was startled to see that almost all of the photos were taken by just a few investigators. There is much to be said for an MO-style effort which is open to all interested contributors and is complementary to the work of the professionals.

Could it be a fertile P. pusilloides?
