Notes: Very large fruiting conks found on Acer macrophyllum- has characteristics of Ganoderma applanatum but with a large black knob at top and base of shelf(similar to P. igniarius). Smell is sweetly fungaloid like G.applanatum. Flesh staining when touched.
Temp: Low 40’s.
