What is the host?

I do not think it is Dacrymyces chrysospermus. Besides, there are so many other Dacrymyces than chrysospermus, even Calocera species can look similar and I am convinced there are many other genera with lookalikes, especially in the tropics.

but Dacryopinax spathularia has a darker orange base and is yellow towards the tips, these are the opposite, becoming orange where they have begun to dry a bit. Also, these are not really “fan shaped.” I think they look more like observation 84159: http://mushroomobserver.org/84159?q=CVxv
