Notes: There are 14 species of Physcia in the portuguese Checklist, none of which with the features of this specimen, I think. I believe that this specimen belongs to the species P. undulata that, nevertheless, appears in the Checklist of the Azores (maybe because this one is up to date while the first one is out of date).

The specimen shown in observation 62697 has been verified by Richard Harris at NYBG, but it’s a really weird form. The ones in observation 62698 were far more typical for that location. (Both observations were at the same place. It was very abundant.) Unfortunately, I didn’t send those off for verification.
But I think between the two observations, we can at least conclude something of the overall and detailed appearance of the species. Yours seems to be a perfect match to me.
