I am unsure what genus this belongs. It has a laccate cap surface, but I think it this not a species of Ganoderma. The shape of pores is not round like Ganoderma, and, the substrate looks like a small branch.

Retaining sample material is usually a requirement to identify Polypores with accuracy.

I will remember this observation and let you know if I find a better answer.
