Observation 92260: Psathyrella (Fr.) Quél.
When: 2012-04-08
No herbarium specimen

Notes: found growing about 10 feet from a small creek in weeds and grasses. all have an annulus and fairly sturdy stems. cap is whitish and then yellows toward the center of the cap. gills white when young, greying to brown as specimen matures. spores on stipe look in the range of scarlet/maroon/brownish. Didn’t seem to bruise with damage but I didn’t hang around watching much longer than 20 mins or so.
