Recognized by sight: on moss on a trailside. Darvin DeShazer first saw it.
Based on microscopic features: asci tips broad and flat but not blueing in Melzer’s. Recurved paraphyses. Globose spores 10 × 10 microns on average.

Great work up. Should go back and look for more of these little purple gelatinous critters! They might be just starting.
