this is likely Phycomyces.
during the middle stage of development the genus produces “yellowish” sporangia.

microsopy is necessary.
macroscopic diagnosis is kind of futile.

i will ask Jerry Benny on Monday what his opinion is…but the likely answer will be…“could be. need to see micro.”
