Notes:
CAP:

  • 10cm max
  • hygrophanous
  • conical to umbonate
  • no smell even when crushed
  • various shades of brown (honey-colored umbo)

GILLS:

  • close, attached
  • dark brown, pallid when young possibly

SPORE PRINT: brown to dark brown

STALK:

  • 9-11cm long, 1.5cm wide at widest point close to base
  • hollow
  • tapering upward
  • satiny white w/ brown filaments
  • shredding length-wise
  • annulus remnants, possibly skirt-like?

HABITAT:

  • on ground in woods next to a trail, near alder logs
