Observed at the Mt. Pisquah Arboretum Mushroom Show, Oct. 31, 2005. The name Lepiota rachodes has been deprecated to Chlorophyllum rachodes. This is a very common fall mushroom growing on the large Thatcher ant nests frequently found in Douglas fir second-growth forests.
