Notes: Something I came across in my photo stash and decided to post after reading Else’s comments on the sections of the genus Pluteus in observation 93719
It’s a very common species in our birch forests.

Pluteus leoninus is a very rewarding representative of Pluteus sect. Hispidoderma when it comes to microscopy :)
