Observation 9380: Pleurotus ostreatus (Jacq.) P. Kumm.
When: 2007-11-04
No herbarium specimen

Notes: While using a restroom on the Wilson River highway going to Tillamook, I espied this Bidleaf maple snag across the road and perhaps 40 feet lower than where I was standing. So, I used the telescopic feature on my camera and took these photos. Photos show about a 30 foot section of trunk, fruiting abundantly Pleurotus ostreatus. Many of these mushrooms I would estimate were 8 or more inches across.
