Summary: You got it!

Yep – the first letter of the words in my notes section coded it…

This is Schizophyllum commune, split and ragged and algae-covered in age. I was struck by its similarity to a lichen from a distance, and thought I’d put MOsters to the test.

Figures that you called it…

Summary: trick question?

Is this a spray-painted fungus, or something?? Looks remarkably similar to Evernia prunastri from a distance… but not. :)
