Based on microscopic features: hymenium 60u high; spores 8/ascus, mostly 3- and 4-septate, average 24×7; paraphyses simple, ca. 2u diameter, ca. 3u diameter at apices; Pycnidia abundant; pycnospores ca. 15u long and very thin, variably curved
