Recognized by sight: wild guess; thallus is mostly indistinct, but I think you can see scattered thin orange areoles; that and the inland location would rule out C. luteominia; of the remaining species (all with “well-developed” thallus!) C. subsoluta would seem to be the least unpalatable :)
